DeSantis endorses Trump: What will he get in exchange? | DW News

Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis has ended his bid for the Republican nomination for president of the United States. Once seen as perhaps the most viable Republican alternative to Donald Trump, DeSantis endorsed the former president as he bowed out on Sunday. The move leaves Trump with just one rival, along with four criminal proceedings, standing between him and a rematch with President Joe Biden in November.
