Rishi Sunak has warned that the UK and US will strike Houthi targets again if British interests in the Red Sea are threatened. He was speaking after overnight strikes were carried out on Houthi basis in Yemen. The prime minister told MPs the strikes were undertaken due to an “ongoing and imminent threat” from Houthis to “UK commercial vessels and to our partners in the Red Sea”.
