Valdo Calocane, who killed three people in “frenzied and relentless” attacks in Nottingham, UK, is to be detained in a high-security hospital. He was given a hospital order at Nottingham Crown Court after admitting three counts of manslaughter on the basis of diminished responsibility. Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, both 19, were fatally stabbed on 13 June 2023 along with Ian Coates, 65. The judge told Calocane: “You were, and remain, dangerous.”
