Former British Army officer Colonel Tim Collins has said the UK could see a return of conscription. “The recruiting system the armed forces uses has failed miserably,” he told Sky News. He said the current contracts have “clearly failed” and while he would prefer not to use conscription “it may be the only alternative”.
