In full: PM on banning disposable vapes and calls for Iran to ‘de-escalate’ Middle East tensions

Rishi Sunak says “improving enforcement” and banning disposable vapes will tackle the “worrying rise in vaping amongst children”. The prime minister has also called for “de-escalation” between Iran and the United States after three US troops were killed in a drone attack in Jordan. Senators in the US have called for “devastating retaliation across the Middle East” after President Biden blamed “radical Iran-backed militant groups” for the deaths of the military personnel.
