After destroying as much as 80 percent of the buildings in Northern Gaza, Israel’s military is now focusing on the territory’s south. Weeks of bombing have left much of the city of Khan Yunis in ruins, forcing tens of thousands of Palestinians to flee to the Egyptian border in the south. Some go even further, like the woman who fled with five children to South Africa. She shared her story with DW.
