Former sub-postmaster Alan Bates has been giving evidence to the Business and Trade Committee, chaired by Labour MP Liam Byrne. Mr Bates said that even with massive public support and awareness following the success of the ITV drama that bore his name, his compensation claim is “not getting any faster” and “he can’t see an end to it.”
