The business and trade secretary, Kemi Badenoch, says that the Conservatives have “drawn a line” under the Frank Hester racism row. The Conservative donor Frank Hester was criticised for comments he made about former Labour MP Diane Abbott, including that she should be “shot”. Kemi Badenoch says “I think it is fine for us to be able to accept and forgive and draw a line under it.” Adding that she believes his donated £10m “should be kept”.
