Sir Keir Starmer accused Rishi Sunak of being “scared” to call an election at the final PMQs before the Easter break. The prime minister repeated that his “working assumption is that the election will be in the second half of the year”. And he hit back saying that Sir Keir should be “grateful”, claiming the delay gives the Labour leader time “to come up with a plan for Britain”.
