Women affected by change in state pension age ‘are owed compensation’, but is it enough?

Chair of Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI), Angela Madden, joined Sky News to discuss a recent report which found that The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) failed to adequately communicate changes to women’s state pension age. Those affected are now owed compensation. Ms Madden said an all-party parliamentary group in parliament “has the view that level six compensation should be given at the ombudsman’s scale, which is £10,000 per person”.
