Palestinian authorities said at least 14 Palestinians were killed during a two-day raid in the occupied West Bank on Saturday. Israeli forces began the raid in the early hours of Friday in the Nur Shams area, near the flashpoint city of Tulkarm, where they exchanged gunfire with armed fighters. Israeli forces say a number of militants were killed or arrested during the raid and four soldiers injured. It is one of the heaviest casualty totals in the West Bank in recent months.
