Ten countries have made a decade long commitment to maintain current global efforts to increase the tiger population.
Leaders, biologists and wildlife experts gathered at The Tiger Conservation Coalition (TTCC) in Bhutan to raise money and highlight the key roles that tigers and their habitats play in the wellbeing of the planet.
In the final statements of the conference ten countries made a $1bn (£804,000) to conservation efforts after declining population, which was described as an ‘expensive’ task by TTCC.
