A delegation from mediator Egypt arrived in Israel Friday (April 26) in a bid to reignite stalled negotiations for a ceasefire in the Gaza war including the potential release of hostages, Israeli and Egyptian media reported. AP journalist Jon Gambrell says it is a "last ditch effort against a possible Israeli ground offensive in Rafah".
