Pro-Palestine students at the University of Michigan protested for Palestine during their commencement ceremony by wearing the traditional keffiyeh scarves and waving Palestinian flags among a crowd of thousands at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on May 4.
The ceremony proceeded despite the protest, with campus police guiding the protesters to the rear of the stadium. No arrests were reported, as confirmed by a university spokesperson.
