The historic trial of Donald Trump is under way following an arduous process of selecting a jury.
The former US president is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business documents as part of a hush money case involving porn star Stormy Daniels. He denies all the charges against him.
Mr Trump describes the trial as "election interference at a level that nobody in this country has ever seen before".
