Khan Younis in southern Gaza has also been struck by Israeli artillery.
Meanwhile, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will arrive in the region this weekend to try to reinvigorate ceasefire negotiations and get more aid into Gaza following the opening of a floating pier. Craig Boswell reports.
