Spain, Ireland and Norway will on Tuesday formally recognize a state of Palestine, in a move that’s likely to strengthen the global Palestinian cause.
The three European nations say their landmark decision is not against Israel nor in favor of Hamas, but rather in support of peace. Israel has reacted angrily, describing announcement as “obscene,” and has recalled its ambassadors from all three nations.
