Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a whirlwind tour of the European Union looking for military aid. He’s currently in Belgium where the government has committed to equipping Ukraine with 30 F16 fighter jets. The first deliveries are planned for later this year. The announcement comes as EU defence ministers meet in Brussels to discuss further military aid for Kyiv.
In Ukraine, soldiers are trying to hold back or at least slow a Russian incursion near Kharkiv. DW’s Max Zander went to the frontlines to see how they’re doing it.
