‘Memorial tourism’: D-Day commemorations turning a ‘historic’ profit • FRANCE 24 English

80 years on from the D-Day landings, shops in Normandy are turning over huge profits, selling souvenirs to the hundreds of thousands of tourists who are visiting. There are also war recreations and plane simulators for visitors to enjoy, but some critics say it is too much, war is not an entertainment business.
