Sophy Ridge speaks to Labour Shadow Minister for Employment and Social Security, Alison McGovern about Labour’s plans and how they would tackle child poverty.
McGovern says Sir Keir’s team has "worked very hard" to put together the party’s plan for government. That includes "the first steps" that can "make an immediate difference" and "longer term missions" that "change the structure of our economy".
"We have to make sure we can grow the economy and take our economy out of the political instability we’ve had," she says.
