Bereaved parents call on government to address racial disparities in baby mortality rates

A group of bereaved parents have written to the the government – urging it to address racial disparities in the rate of stillborn children.

Stillbirth rates continue to be higher for babies of black or Asian ethnicities than those of white.

Sky’s Shamaan Freeman-Powell has spoken to one mother who lost her daughter on the same day she was born.
