Bangladesh deploys army to face down massive quota protests | DW News

Bangladesh is under a nationwide curfew after weeks of protest turned violent. Military forces are now patrolling the streets of the capital Dhaka in a bid to restore calm. More than a hundred people have been killed in clashes with police. The government puts the blame for violence on the opposition. The unrest started after the government re-introduced limits on who has access to highly sought-after government jobs.
