The number of primary-aged children being excluded from learning has reached an all-time high, according to figures released by the Department of Education this week.
Sky News has visited one school that is banning the approach, believing it doesn’t work.
Around 85,000 primary school children were excluded or suspended last year. Of those, more than 27,000 were aged 6 and under.
