Donald Trump has questioned Kamala Harris’ racial identity during a heated interview at a Black journalists’ convention.
The Republican presidential nominee said he had known her "indirectly" for a while and thought she was Indian, saying, “I don’t know, is she Indian or Black?”
Trump’s remarks about the vice president have been condemned by the White House as “repulsive” and “insulting”.
