Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith narrowly missed out on gold to USA’s Quincy Hall in a dramatic men’s 400m final at the Paris Olympics.
It was a day of silver medals for Team GB as they clocked up their 1000th Olympic medal at the summer and winter Olympic Games, following the men’s team pursuit.
