Half of Sudan’s population of 50 million is now facing food insecurity and famine. One of the negotiations’ main goals is to open three border crossings, which would allow more humanitarian aid into the country.
DW Correspondent Mariel Müller traveled to Chad’s border with Sudan to speak with refugees. They shared their stories with her about the brutal war that forced them to flee their homeland.
