A lung cancer patient has become the first in the UK to receive a new experimental vaccine to help his body fight the disease.
The mRNA jab uses the same technology as the one used by the BioNTech COVID vaccine.
It works by training five billion cells in the immune system to attack cancer tumours – researchers say it is more effective and less harmful than chemotherapy.
