Displaced Palestinian families took refuge in a cemetery in Gaza’s Deir al Balah, as they couldn’t afford to transport their belongings elsewhere amid Israel’s ongoing bombardment of the battered enclave.
Israel forces issued evacuation orders to parts of Deir al Balah on August 21, saying that the area was a “dangerous combat zone," even as the "safe zones" have shrunk to just 9.5% of the region.
