French far-right leaders Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella met with President Emmanuel Macron on Monday on the second day of consultations with political groups by the president as he navigates the maze of finding a new prime minister. Bardella, the leader of the National Rally party, which came behind the New Popular Front in the recent parliamentary election, said he cautioned Macron over the “danger” of naming a prime minister from the left-wing coalition.
