Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militants have released footage of their soldiers boarding a Greek-flagged oil tanker and setting off charges.
The tanker was abandoned after being attacked by the Houthis in the Red Sea on 21 August.
The group is allowing the vessel to be towed to safety due to fears of a major oil leak.
The Houthis are part of Iran’s Axis of Resistance and have vowed to disrupt international shipping until there is a ceasefire in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
