British government announces suspending 30 of its 350 arms export licences to Israel given the “clear risk” that they “commit or facilitate a serious violation of international humanitarian law.”
Among the items that will come under the suspension will be components for military aircraft including fighter jets, helicopters, and drones.
British exports account for less than 1% of Israel’s total arms imports, with over 95% of Israeli weapons coming from the US and Germany.
