Harrowing details have emerged at the trial of a Frenchman charged with enlisting dozens of strangers to rape his drugged wife in a case that has horrified France. The case has raised questions over France’s laws regarding consent, as well as for the medical system after doctors who examined the victim over a number of years failed to raise the alarm, says France 24’s Annette Young.
