Turkish advanced trainer jet, HURJET, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), arrives in Egypt for the International Aviation Show, which is taking place between September 3 and 5. The HURJET project, Türkiye’s first jet-powered supersonic trainer aircraft, began in 2017.
The jet made its inaugural flight in April 2023, efforts are underway to prepare it for inclusion in the Turkish Air Force by 2025. At the International Aviation Show, TAI is also showcasing its indigenous combat aircraft KAAN, T129 ATAK helicopter, and the unmanned aerial vehicle Aksungur.
