Great Ormond Street Hospital in London is reviewing more than 700 cases involving children who were seen by a former orthopaedic surgeon.
The hospital says its taking allegations surrounding ‘botched operations’ on children’s limbs ‘incredibly seriously.’
It has emerged at least one child had to have a leg amputated following procedures carried out by Yaser Jabbar at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), while others suffered leg length discrepancies needing further and prolonged care.
