Thailand’s new prime minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has laid out her policy plans to parliament in her inaugural speech. In the address, Shinawat promised to continue with many of her predecessor’s plans to solve the country’s economic problems. Shinawat was sworn in last month after the country’s previous prime minister was ousted over ethics concerns. DW’s Georg Matthes reports.
