The row over Labour’s winter fuel payment cut has heated up, with the party’s biggest union backer accusing the government of "cruelty".
Unite Union is planning on submitting a motion at the Labour conference later this month calling on the Prime Minister to rethink.
It comes as the Liberal Democrats began their party conference by continuing to push for a U-turn on the policy.
