The US Attorney for the southern district of Florida, Markenzy Lapointe gives an update on the apparent assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
He says Ryan Routh has been charged in Florida with firearm offences and agents found a digital camera, a backpack, a rifle and a black plastic bag containing food at the scene.
Mr Lapointe says the FBI is leading the investigation and it is ‘still at the early stages.’
