Health Secretary Wes Streeting says the British public will take "real comfort in the honesty" following Sir Keir Starmer’s first address to the Labour Party conference as prime minister.
Sir Keir told delegates the government would have to make more "unpopular" decisions in order to make a "Britain built to last".
Mr Streeting said the PM "spent the summer talking about the need to fix the foundations", and today described "the house he wants to build on those foundations".
