Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the balance of power has been changed in the Middle East with the killing of Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah. Protests have been held in Lebanon, Iran and the Palestinian territories denouncing the attack. Iran, Hezbollah’s backer, has demanded a meeting of the UN Security Council over the killing. Meanwhile, Israel says it intercepted rockets fired from Lebanon. Netanyahu warned there would be challenges ahead, but said his country had reached an historic turning point.
