It’s been one year since Israel began waging a war in Gaza following Hamas’ attack on Oct. 7, 2023, leading to the greatest humanitarian crisis ever seen in the enclave, where, according to the Gaza health ministry, over 41,000 people have died and an estimated 1.9 million have been displaced. Civilians bear the brunt of the conflict, faced with food, fuel and electricity shortages, compounding their lack of medicine and aid.
