Sebastien Lai, son of British citizen detained in a pro-democracy protest in China, says his father Jimmy Lai is being imprisoned in Hong Kong for "standing up for the freedoms that underpin our democracy".
While foreign secretary David Lammy met the Chinese foreign minister, prime minister Sir Keir Starmer has called 76-year-old Jimmy’s release a priority for the UK government.
Sebastian talks to Sky’s Matt Barbet about the situation in Hong Kong, highlighting the number of pro-democracy activists that are being prosecuted, saying that "this is reality now".
