The medical charity Doctors Without Borders has announced it has suspended work in the north Burkina Faso city of Djibo. In the past two years, jihadist groups have closed in on the city, which is not far from the borders with Niger and Mali. In explaining its departure, Doctors without Borders mentions the targeting of health centres.
