Every day more injured individuals are lost due to limited resources, a lack of ambulances, and the absence of specialised surgical teams in northern Gaza, says Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia.
On October 26, Israeli forces withdrew from Kamal Adwan Hospital following a 24-hour bombardment that resulted in casualties, including children in intensive care.
During the days-long occupation, the hospital’s emergency and counseling departments were demolished, medical equipment was damaged, and ambulances were wrecked.
