Darren Jones, chief secretary to the Treasury, speaks on Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips.
He starts by discussing comments he made about Donald Trump in 2016 when Mr Jones described the US president as "repugnant".
He says it is clear Trump won "decisively" in the US. He added: "It’s for the Democratic party to make sure they really understand why voters are voting for the other team and not ours.
