Reports say that Israeli tank fire has hit several areas near Lebanon’s southeastern border. Reuters news agency reports at least two people were wounded in the town of Markaba, two kilometres from the border between Lebanon and Israel. This comes a day after Israel agreed to a truce with the militant group Hezbollah, barring all offensive military operations. The Israeli military now says the ceasefire was breached after suspects arrived in several areas.
