Chaos erupted in the Bahamas Parliament on December 4 when opposition MP Shanendon Cartwright hurled the ceremonial mace out of the window.

The act followed the Speaker’s refusal to allow Opposition Leader Michael Pintard to address allegations of the Royal Bahamas Police Force’s involvement in drug trafficking.
