It’s a relatively new job title in the western world: Charlotte Wiedemann from Berlin is a death doula – a non-medical person, trained to provide emotional, physical, and educational support for people nearing death and their loved ones. On TikTok and Instagram, she’s providing information on dealing with death and the dead. And she’s just opened a funeral concept space in Berlin.
