Israel killed at least 10 Palestinians in a strike that targeted them as they were gathering water in the Shati camp in western Gaza, on December 19.
Human Rights Watch accused Israel of Genocide earlier the same day, in a report saying Israel "deliberately destroyed and damaged water and sanitation infrastructure," with HRW executive director Tirana Hassan saying "the Israeli government has deliberately denied Palestinians in Gaza the bare minimum they need to survive.”
