‘We also need to have some fun’: How Berlin’s mums are making most of city’s nightlife

In Berlin, Germany’s party capital, there’s no question of missing out on the cinema or a dance floor after the arrival of a baby. For the last few months, Julia Wolf, a mother of two young children, has been organising ‘Mummy’s going to dance’ evenings: parties only for mothers who want to have a toddler-free time. And for film-loving parents, the city’s Babylon cinema puts on pushchair screenings every Wednesday, for mums and their little ones. Our correspondent Nick Holdsworth sent us this from Berlin.
