The mother of a nine-year-old boy killed when a man drove a car through a packed Christmas market has paid tribute to her son.
Andre Gleissner was among five people who died in the attack on Friday evening in the German town of Magdeburg.
In a tribute on social media, his mother Desiree Gleissner, wrote: "Let my little teddy bear fly around the world again… Andre didn’t do anything to anyone…
"He was only with us on earth for 9 years… why you… why. I don’t understand…"
A 50-year-old suspect, who arrived in Germany in 2006 from Saudi Arabia, has been remanded in custody in connection with the attack.
